There are so many ways for teens to make money today that it is way too easy. Teens at any age have no excuses for not making money at home unless they do not have access to the Internet. And that is pretty rare these days.
Back when I was a teenager there were limitations on ways to make money, especially if you did not drive. The Internet was not invented yet and if you could not get a job at a local business all you were left to do was baby-sit for 25 cents and hour. Today is so different for there are tons of ways for teens to make money and the biggest one is to make money online.
Many teenagers as young as 13 and younger are creating wealth by creating their own blogs. With a blogger blog there are no age requirements and it is free to have a blogging business. There was a story here about a Detroit area teenage girl who was making a million with her blog and all she was doing is offering graphics to MySpace user teens. She built her blog up to a full blown web business with a forum for teenagers and all. She made enough money in a year to buy her mother a new home.
There was also another high school-er here that made a huge business out of music boxes. He made enough to start building his own music boxes and with the help of his mother paid for his college and continued with his online business while he was at college.
There are many stories of teens making money online in many different niches. Teenagers today are very web savvy and making money at home lessons the problems of transportation to a job or making less than minimum wage at other part time jobs associated with teenagers.
Teenagers today are taught many of the basic computer skills at school and also learn basic graphic design and videography as part of clss studies. They have the basic skills to set up webpages.
Teenagers also know the trends and what the up and coming games are and what is a hot niche to get involved in. This is what most people are trying to figure out when making money online. People want to know what other people are looking for. The teen has an advantage when it comes to finding the hot niches that kids his or her age are wanting to buy.
