Making money online free does have its drawbacks just like any other free methods of making money online. It requires more work and time. But if you network with the right people that know the power of helping each other out, than our efforts to make money online become a little easier.

After checking my stats for this blog on How to Make Money Online at Home after my last post I realized that I was on the first page of Google for the term “how to make money online at home” plus I was pretty close to having more terms recognized by Google for a few in the top listings for certain keywords. I just was not close enough to be getting any traffic yet. I guess How To Make Money Online at Home has no traffic, because no one has ever searched my site for those terms. And being on page one in Google I should have at least had a couple of hits.

Thats what is nice about having a longtail keyword for my blog name. I am getting ranked for a lot of different terms. That is why I chose “How to Make Money Online Free” for my blog title and URL for Today.com. I am hovering between page 3 and 4 on Google for the term “how to Make Money Online Free”. There is still not a lot of traffic for this term between 880-480 a month in searches, but this will give this site more keyword authority for the term I am focusing on.

In order to gain search engine rankings for my main term “How to Make Money” I need to get authority in the serps for many of the longtail terms in my blog title. How to make money free is just one of the many terms I am going after. I already know that not having my keywords in my domain name makes the road a little longer, but as someone always says, “This is a marathon not a sprint”. Like I said in my previous post I have until 2016 to reach that goal. Hopefully I will earn money from this blog long before then.

Now that I know that “how to make money online at home” has no searches it is time to attack other long tails until I see results in my stats. Yes I check my stats! Obviously not as often as I should or I would have known what was taking place with all my longtail keywords.

So now I have How to Make Money Online Free at Today.com to see if I can rank that site for this keyword thus passing juice to this site hopefully. Then if I don’t show any traffic for this longtail keyword then I will just keep building for other keyword combination’s until I whittle it down to keywords that bring in the traffic. Plus I have been able to test these keyword out without spending any money. I could figure this out quicker if I chose to spend money on Googles Adwords and run PPC campaigns, but I could also lose a lot of money before I found out there was little or no traffic for different search terms.

The beauty of using free blogging platforms for keyword research is if they do not pan out I can always change a few things in the blogs and use the site for other purposes. I figure I will win with my blogging efforts no matter what I do with them.

I will keep posting about what is happening with Today.com and see if I get into trouble over there or worse get banned. I have heard that they do monitor what is happening on there site and people do get there blogs banned, but I will never know until I try. I have had things banned from Hubpages before and Squidoo, so it would not be the first time I did something wrong. As long as I put up relevant content and follow their rules I should be good to go.

How to make money online free does require some trial and error. I figure I have done my share of errors in trying to make money online so maybe now I will be able to do a few things right. I can always use the content.

To make money online at home you need to have a domain that at least has one keyword in its title to rank quicker and easier. Or at least it sure helps! What the hell does djnuttall-enterprises rank for? This site actually started out as a Plug-in-Profit site. A pre-made cookie cutter site with all the bangs and whistles. And so did thousands of other people have the exact same site.

I started out by buying the Rich Jerks ebook and followed everything he said to do in that book. The name The Rich Jerk should have been my first clue. That is where I got connected to Plug-in-Profits and Stone Evans and also the Warrior Forum. And as you guessed it many more top level A-Listers (scammers). I hung on to the Plug-in Profit site on this domain for well over a year (almost two).

The only good thing I got out of The Rich Jerk was the forum. At the time I joined there were a lot of good people. One of them was named Ruck. Ruck became one of my close friends and helped me sort out a lot of the bullshit. When Ruck moved on to form his own site and forum, Cash Tactics, so did I. Unfortunately Ruck got heavily involved in PPC advertising and there was no way I could get involved in PPC.

I remembered Ruck talking a lot about Courtney Tuttle, so I went looking for him. When I found Court’s Internet Marketing School I noticed two characters named Griz and Vic. They seemed to be having the most fun and the loudest voice at Courts site. And Court seemed to respect them a whole lot. Court also started his new blog at The Keyword Academy and has some great tips on Keywords and Learn How To Make Money Online with these keywords.

I started following Vic and Griz ever since to learn how to make money online at home their way. Of course by the time I found Vic’s Blogger Unleashed and Griz’s How to Make Money Online for Beginners, I was flat broke. This site How to Make Money Online at Home had still not made a dime. It is no wonder! I don’t know how many name changes I went through until I found one I could live with. It is no wonder that this site is only a PR2 and ranks for no main keywords.

Today I do have more than one site that I can make money online with that have the right keywords in the domain name. The sad part is, when I bought this domain name I bought it for ten years. Total Noob! So until 2016 djnuttall-enterprises.com will be around. I may not be by then, but this domain name will.

Will How to Make money Online at Home ever make any money? Probably not! But what the hell it is paid for and maybe some day I can get this site to have decent page rank for some main keywords.

How to Make Money Online at Home is like my first born child. This is the one you make all your mistakes with. Every time you try to make new rules for it you just end up screwing it up more. Each new web site I build now gets a little better and turns out better. Just like my kids. My last born is so self assured and can very much stand on their own merit. This site will always need TLC but is my first born so I will hold onto it fondly. I only have seven more years to make this site stronger and possibly find its way to earn money.

I never wanted fame or extreme fortune, I just wanted to make money online at home and be able to have the peace of mind that good or bad economy I would always have enough income to live a very comfortable life and be able to help out my children and grandchildren to find their dreams in life. Failure is not an option. Winners never quit and I have never been a quiter. I will make money online at home and I hope to have the opportunity to help others make money online and find their dreams.
