After spending a little time at Blogger Illustrated you will definitely see Allyn’s passion for internet marketing and his passion to make sure anyone can do what he does. Allyn has bee freely sharing link building in a series of post in the past few weeks. His first post starts on backlinks and what exactly they are. Then Allyn progresses farther into what he calls link stacking or  backlinks and why you would do it this way. Yes making money online is boring most of the time, but the in the overall scheme of things so well worth it. I am basically a loner. I have been all of my life. So making money online was right up my alley. I have never had a large group of friends. In fact my girls and husband are my main circle of friends. I am very out of place in social circles and have had to wear a huge mask to be able to work in the public all my life. The network of friends that I have today probably know me as well as my immediate family. Some people may think this sad, but it works for me.

For me making money online isn’t about fame or recognition for helping hundreds of people make money at home. For me to be able to make money online at home is a way to put food on the table and pay my bills. For some people it is a good fit and for others it just doesn’t work.

I have had some awesome times since I started making money online, but I have had some very frustrating times as well. But in all the good and bad times I have never felt like I had made the wrong decision to use the internet to earn money at home. Yes, making money online is boring but what job isn’t boring at times?

OK this is how to make fast money online for free. Writing articles. I am not talking about writing articles for directories. I am talking about writing articles for content sites. Content sites are free to join and the ones I use put money into your PayPal account immediately or within a couple of days. You will not get rich or even close to it writing for content sites but you could make anywhere from $1000 to $4000 a month depending on how much time you put into writing articles.

I make money fast with Associated Content.

With Associated Content you can write topics on any subject and submit them for upfront payments. You will want to make sure that you are writing at least 400 word articles. When writing content make sure that you are writing for the web. What this means is that you will want to use SEO techniques and keywords that people are searching for. You can write local topics, hot trends, upcoming holiday stuff, how-to articles and just about anything that you have some particular knowledge on. When writing for Associated Content, do a search first and see that you are writing something not covered already or that you have a totally new twist to a subject. The more unique your topic, the more you get paid. Once you get an offer on your article and you accept the offer, you payment will be sent to your PayPal account with in 24 hours. Once you content is published you also get paid a residual for page views. The page view residuals are quite small however and these are paid out monthly to your PayPal account. There is no limit as to how many articles you can submit in a 24 hour period. The only drawback to Associated Content is that in order to get paid upfront payments you need to reside in the United States. However you still can receive page view residuals on your content no matter where you live. But if you are looking to make money online fast, this does not help.

Make money online fast writing for Demand Studios.

Another pretty cool place to make money fast is at Demand Studios. Demand Studios just like Associated Content is free to join and pays directly to your PayPal account. Demand Studios does not pay right away but they do have pay-outs twice a week. This is pretty fast. Demand Studios will pay $15 per article submitted. If you can write 10 articles a day that is $150 a day. For me that is pretty hard to do. But the nice thing is that you do not have to come up with your own article ideas.  Article titles are already given and all you have to do is claim the article you want to write about. If you chosen articles that you are already somewhat familiar on than writing the article goes much quicker.  It is required that you have resources to each article that you write. I won’t go into a lot of detail on this, you can read up on the rules for writing content at their website. You will also be submitting your article into a formatted template that they want you to use. Writing for Demand Studios can be quite rewarding financially if you like writing content at high volumes day in and day out. Once your articles are purchased they become the property of Demand Studios and you will not gain any further income from those articles. Demand Studios is a little more stricter than Associated Content as far as quality of articles but they are not unreasonable.

You may find that writing for Associated Content and Demand Studios will lead to other freelance writing offers outside of writing for these content sites. Many writers on these sites have spawned full time freelance writing careers just for getting recognized on these two sites alone. If you are seriously wanting to learn how to make fast money online for free, these two sites work great for getting that extra cash fast.

I also decided to spend a couple of bucks and go with a premium theme. I like the new look, but as you can tell by the header “How to Make Money Online at Home” I am not a logo expert by anyone’s account. But I guess that is just cosmetic. Having a nice logo only means I may be an expert in making logos. That I am not. Will the theme make me more money? No! But since this is my home on the internet to try and help people make money online at home it is nice to have a decent first impression. Just like my physical home. I do like to keep that looking nice as well.

First impressions are important for any business. It would be harder to make money online with a business that looks like crap. I am not talking about a simple style sight or a plain site. I am talking about a site that has so much trash all over it, that you just want to grab a broom and clean it up. You have seen these type of sites. The ones that are selling everything under the sun in hopes that you will eventually click on something. They have very little in content and add no value to helping you out with your problem.

Must be that the last template I was using had busted for quite some time. Guess checking to make sure Google is caching your sites is something people should be checking. Never thought about that before. If anyone knows what makes Google stop caching your posts I would be interested to know.

Now that How to Make Money Online at Home has a new look hopefully I can add some new life to this site. It has been extremely quiet for quite some time. Perhaps now I can focus on getting this site some authority the right way. It baffles me how I can get most of my other sites ranked well for their keyword yet this site, which I have had the longest, struggles so.

I have dabbled a bit in using drop shipping as a means to generate income online. E-commerce is definitely a way to make money online but it also falls into the category of a work at home job. Using wholesale dropshipping to me is much more stressful than building tons of niche blogs but usually the money is pretty good. I really don’t like being responsible for other peoples money. Plus with dropshipping you need to stay on top of your business every minute. this would be fine if you online had one or two sources of generating income. Most people that run an e-commerce business only have one store or two at the most. With my business model of building niche blogs I have hundreds of sites. But most of these are set and forget.

I am not saying that wholesale dropshipping is bad its just that it requires more work daily than I care to be responsible for. Let me see if I can explain this better.

I started selling stuff on eBay. I was doing fairly well but I had to constantly replenish my supplies. This meant a lot of time going to auctions, flee markets, garage sales and so forth and so on. This felt more like a work at home job than a business. No inventory meant no sales. At this time I was hearing a lot about dropshipping and how easy it was. You did not have to have an inventory and all you had to do was be able to drive traffic to your e-biz or to eBay. You were getting your products available for way below retail prices. So I jumped in and joined Worldwide Brands. No problem so far. Worldwide Brands has a great reputation for having legitimate wholesale companies and tons of dropshippers willing to work with you. Some dropshippers charge an extra fee to use their service and some you can use their dropshipping company service for no extra charge. A win win situation all around.

I stayed with dropshipping companies that were American dropshippers. I just felt more comfortable with American dropshippers as I could check out the companies online and shipping was usually cheaper and quicker for my buyers. This way I could offer bare bottom prices on my merchandise. This made making sales on eBay much easier.

I run a website advertising my merchandise but I try to direct potential buyers to eBay so I do not have to deal with a shopping cart and handling credit cards. EBay has their own merchant account and use PayPal, a very trusted source when it comes to your buyers. With eBay all I have to do is run my products in their auctions and they handle the sale. Once I get the sale and after eBay fees I then forward the money need to purchase the product from the dropshippers and they in turn send out the product to your buyer. The wholesale dropshippers in turn sends you confirmation on its shipping and also sends confirmation to the buyer. Anything over and above the cost of the product and eBay’s fees is money in your pocket. Still sounds great right?

Well, do to my lack of staying on top of my business every moment, some of the products I had up for sale had raised in price. My fault for not checking my sources regularly. So I lost money on some deals because of my not being diligent. I though my dropshipping companies would inform me of pending price increases prior to changing prices. Not always!

Once I made the sale I worried about my customer receiving their products on time and in good shape. For handling unhappy customers was not something I really wanted to deal with. And what if these people wanted a refund after receiving their products. Refunds would fall on me and then I would have to get refunded back from the dropshippers. Fortunately I never ran into this situation but it could have happened. I sell some high priced items and refunds could make one hell of a dent in my checkbook. Worry, Worry, Worry!

Talk about a high stress work at home job! I did not want to trade my day job for another high stress job at home. I just wanted to make money online at home.

I still make money with wholesale dropshippers but I just do not hit it as hard as I once did. I find niche marketing with blogging way more satisfying and a lot less stressful. I am not saying wholesale dropshipping is a bad thing or that there are not a lot of people making big big money with this business model. I am just trying to point out what the ups and downs are. Dropshipping is a quick way to make money but for me it just isn’t a long term business model I want to persue.

InfoBarrel is a lot like HubPages where you write one page topics. The difference between HubPages and Info Barrel is on Info Barrel you can get immediately do-follow backlinks right away. You do not need to wait to get a certain quality score before your backlinks are do follow.

I first heard of Info Barrel from Lissie at Passive Income Online. If you want to read the whole article it is “What is InfoBarrel?“. Lissie writes a very good discription on InfoBarrel there.

The way that you earn money through InfoBarrel is through shared revenue on the Adsense ads and with your eBay affiliate code. I assume you have to write a great many articles to make much money. Not saying it isn’t possible to make a lot of money it is just that you need to like to write a lot. And you need to know how to trigger high paying Adsense ads with your articles.

I have just signed up to InfoBarrel today so I still do not have any articles posted yet. I understand that the first ten articles will need prior approval before they are published. After that you will get instant approval on your articles. This is fine with me. This will avoid InfoBarrel from becoming a spam fest.

I have just witnessed how having a network of online friends can take one website that has basically not drawn much attention in the search engines grow almost over night with one post. The post was an attention getter with a lot of friction that drew many online social networking friends together to help this site and the site owner to over take many higher ranking websites to get to the top of the serps.

This online networking sites of people came together and pushed Lissie’s post to the top of the serps in just a couple of days. I was only one of the many people who came out to defend Lis against the threats that were evolved upon her.

In its heyday maybe you could make money with Site Build It. I thought! However back then I though most anything was pretty good because I was a beginner and did not know how to build web sites and blogging was not as big and excepted as it is today. Unfortunately Site Build It has not kept up with the times and has not kept up with the new techniques in how to make money online free.

I have nothing against Site Build It or Ken Evoy. What I do find offensive is when one person calls Site Build It a scam they get very bullying. I have a friend Lis who probably not in the best judgement in my opinion called Site Build It a Scam and they made all sorts of nasty threats to her. This is what has inflamed so many people. If this company is so big and strong on their own why would they be so attacking to one person who makes one post calling them out. Serious legal threats and threats on reporting her to her hosting company were definitely uncalled for. Nobody probably would have even noticed this young lady’s post if they had not been so rude and harsh to her. Unfortunately Lis has made quite a few friends on the Internet in her short time of trying to make money online. Don’t think this bullying will go unnoticed!

I just Googled “Site Build It Scam” in parentheses and there are 325 pages. Did they go on the attack with every one of these sites? The only reason there are so many good reviews because of the high commission paid to affiliates. For $75 a pop I should endorse this product as well, instead of endorsing products that have no affiliate commissions but do what they claim to do and that is make money online.

To make money online free with Squidoo you first must understand some of its qualities. Squidoo ia a one page site that is easily monetized just by the way it is designed. Google has always been very fond of Squidoo and Squidoo works very hard to maintain its favor with Google. Since Squidoo got spanked from Google over a year ago a lot of marketers started to shy away from here. But for those that hung around they were optimizing the ability to make money online at home just from Squidoo.

The best way to make money from Squidoo is to make sure that you have fully optimized keyword rich modules. Squidoo now has no-followed the tags from Google so you keywords are determined by the content provided. The tags however still produce value to the inner workings of Squidoo so don’t avoid them all together. Squidoo members can help you with your rankings and backlinks within Squidoo itself. You are found by the tags you choose.

Squidoo runs its own Adsense ads and you are supposed to be making money from a percentage of the clicks. I have no idea how this is decided or what the percentage is. I know it isn’t much so I don’t even worry about it.

The way you make money on Squidoo is by either using their monetizing modules or by using your own methods of monetizing modules. For instance, there are a couple of modules, eBay and Amazon that you are supposed to be able to earn money from. How ever I did not use their modules for them.

If you have are a member of EPN or Amazon you can place you own affiliate sources gaining a greater amount of the money earned.

As I have already stated Squidoo runs the Adsense Ads and you really don’t make money online from these ads, but now Clickbank has their own ads that you can make money online free with. These are called HopAd. Go to Clickbank and look for the HopAd Builder. Here you can build text ads or tabbed ads.

Squidoo stopped allow iframes quite a while but now there is a way to ad your opt-in forms into Squidoo. If you do email marketing the opt-in form is a huge benefit on Squidoo. I know I get a lot of traffic from search engines and inside Squidoo itself. To be able to capture these leads is a plus. Just offer a free upload or free information and you are good to go. Everyone likes free!

You will have to give up your email address to receive the manual for the Clickbank HopAd. Neither one of these methods cost any money. So far we are still making money online free through Squidoo.

Also with Squidoo there are a few things you need to know first before you get started. As Squidoo is a one page site, you will definitely want to be focusing on those longtail keywords. This will speed you along with your page rank in Google. The traffic may not be as high but you will be getting a more targeted traffic that are looking to buy. Also when thinking Squidoo think products. Services do OK but you will make money online faster if you use Squidoo for products.

If you are using Squidoo for link building not all modules have do follow links. The Do follow list includes these modules:

Squidoo has a wide range of possibilities when it comes to the ability to make money online Free. Along with the ability to make money with your Squidoo lens you can have unlimited lenses. I started out having a lot of lenses on one account which was a big mistake. You do have the opportunity to move lenses around to other accounts however. This option is built into Squidoo. I would not recommend having too many lenses on one account.

Oh I almost forgot another money maker with Squidoo. Lense flipping! With the ability to move lenses around you can also sell lenses. Lens Flipping is a lot like site flipping but way easier. All you need to do is change one lens to a different lens account. Squidoo lenses are selling for hundreds of dollars and they don’t even have to have high PR. You can build a well optimized lens (or2 or 10) today and sell them off tomorrow. You would be surprised at how easy this is and how much money is involved with this. This is a huge way to make fast money fast online and all for free.

Making money online free does have its drawbacks just like any other free methods of making money online. It requires more work and time. But if you network with the right people that know the power of helping each other out, than our efforts to make money online become a little easier.

After checking my stats for this blog on How to Make Money Online at Home after my last post I realized that I was on the first page of Google for the term “how to make money online at home” plus I was pretty close to having more terms recognized by Google for a few in the top listings for certain keywords. I just was not close enough to be getting any traffic yet. I guess How To Make Money Online at Home has no traffic, because no one has ever searched my site for those terms. And being on page one in Google I should have at least had a couple of hits.

Thats what is nice about having a longtail keyword for my blog name. I am getting ranked for a lot of different terms. That is why I chose “How to Make Money Online Free” for my blog title and URL for Today.com. I am hovering between page 3 and 4 on Google for the term “how to Make Money Online Free”. There is still not a lot of traffic for this term between 880-480 a month in searches, but this will give this site more keyword authority for the term I am focusing on.

In order to gain search engine rankings for my main term “How to Make Money” I need to get authority in the serps for many of the longtail terms in my blog title. How to make money free is just one of the many terms I am going after. I already know that not having my keywords in my domain name makes the road a little longer, but as someone always says, “This is a marathon not a sprint”. Like I said in my previous post I have until 2016 to reach that goal. Hopefully I will earn money from this blog long before then.

Now that I know that “how to make money online at home” has no searches it is time to attack other long tails until I see results in my stats. Yes I check my stats! Obviously not as often as I should or I would have known what was taking place with all my longtail keywords.

So now I have How to Make Money Online Free at Today.com to see if I can rank that site for this keyword thus passing juice to this site hopefully. Then if I don’t show any traffic for this longtail keyword then I will just keep building for other keyword combination’s until I whittle it down to keywords that bring in the traffic. Plus I have been able to test these keyword out without spending any money. I could figure this out quicker if I chose to spend money on Googles Adwords and run PPC campaigns, but I could also lose a lot of money before I found out there was little or no traffic for different search terms.

The beauty of using free blogging platforms for keyword research is if they do not pan out I can always change a few things in the blogs and use the site for other purposes. I figure I will win with my blogging efforts no matter what I do with them.

I will keep posting about what is happening with Today.com and see if I get into trouble over there or worse get banned. I have heard that they do monitor what is happening on there site and people do get there blogs banned, but I will never know until I try. I have had things banned from Hubpages before and Squidoo, so it would not be the first time I did something wrong. As long as I put up relevant content and follow their rules I should be good to go.

How to make money online free does require some trial and error. I figure I have done my share of errors in trying to make money online so maybe now I will be able to do a few things right.
